Antwerp Hands Biscuits in a tin box (G15)
32 Crusty almond cookies in the shape of a hand.
The name of the City of Antwerp allegedly originates from the legend of a Roman soldier 'Silvius Brabo' and the Giant Antigoon who stangled the city by asking high taxes to everybody who wanted to pass by on the river Scheldt. The brave soldier Silvius Brabo chopped off the hand of the Giant Antigoon and threw it in the river Scheldt. (hand – throwing / Hand werpen) The hand could not collect tax anymore and became a symbol of the city Antwerp.
